About the role
1. Zepto is hiring Quality/FNV Auditors for Fruits & Vegetables and fresh-category operations.
2. The role involves checking product freshness, quality, hygiene, inventory condition and compliance with defined SOPs.
3. The position supports quality control across Distribution Hubs and Fruits & Vegetables operations.
4. Available Locations: 1. Tamil Nadu → Chennai 2. Kerala → Kochi 3. Tamil Nadu → Coimbatore 4. Telangana → Hyderabad 5. Maharashtra → Mumbai 6. Gujarat → Kheda, Ahmedabad
5. Candidates may be required to conduct audits across assigned warehouse or distribution locations.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct quality audits across assigned Distribution Hubs and FnV operations. 2. Check freshness and quality of Fruits & Vegetables. 3. Conduct inbound, storage and outbound quality checks. 4. Verify compliance with quality and food-safety SOPs. 5. Perform hygiene and quality audits. 6. Check product handling and storage practices. 7. Identify quality deviations and non-conformities. 8. Record audit findings accurately. 9. Track customer complaints related to fresh-category products. 10. Perform root-cause analysis for quality issues.
Requirements
1. Education: Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology or related qualification preferred for quality-auditor roles. 2. Freshers may be eligible for some Zepto quality-auditor positions. 3. Relevant experience of 1–5 years may be preferred depending on the specific vacancy. 4. Experience in warehouse, e-commerce, food quality or FnV operations is an advantage. 5. Knowledge of Fruits & Vegetables quality and freshness standards. 6. Knowledge of warehouse and Distribution Hub quality processes. 7. Understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures. 8. Good communication skills. 9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
